About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aesthetic sense, cabinetry/material knowledge, and the ability to translate client needs into functional and visually appealing spaces. This role involves collaborating with clients, general contractors, and installers to create innovative kitchen and bathroom designs that enhance the overall functionality and aesthetics of residential homes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, needs, and budget constraints.
• Develop design concepts using software tools such as AutoCAD and Chief Architect.
• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Select appropriate materials, furnishings, fixtures, and color schemes based on color theory principles.
• Prepare presentations for clients showcasing design proposals and revisions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors during the renovation process to ensure designs are executed accurately.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role is a must.
• Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) along with CAD applications and Chief Architect.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A keen eye for aesthetics combined with strong organizational skills to manage project timelines effectively.
