About the position

Nukitchens is seeking a passionate Kitchen Designer & Sales professional to join our collaborative team. This full-time role involves working closely with clients from the initial design phase through to project completion, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sense, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients from the initial visit through the design process, installation, and completion.
• Design space based on the client's requirements, budget, and appliance selections.
• Prepare and present detailed drawings and 3D renderings of proposed designs.
• Finalize contracts and convert designs to detailed factory orders.
• Support project management and resolve issues that may arise during installation/construction.
• Provide clients with excellent customer service and promote referral business.
• Assist in keeping the showroom neat and orderly.

Requirements

• Exceptional organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, attentiveness, responsiveness, and customer service skills.
• Motivated self-starter who takes initiative and contributes to the collaborative process.
• Superb design sense and strong space planning skills.
• Confident aesthetic vision and understanding of technical details.
• Ability to measure and survey existing conditions and convert measurements into working drawings.
• Comfortable discussing budget and reviewing pricing with clients.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to sell design concepts.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in design and space planning, with kitchen design experience preferred.
• Proficient in design software, particularly CAD and preferably 2020 kitchen design program.
• Knowledge of and ability to learn new technologies.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about design.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with 2020 Spaces Design Software (3 years preferred).
• Experience with AutoCAD (3 years preferred).
• 2 years of kitchen design experience preferred.
