Responsibilities
- Oversee food service operations at the Steuben County Jail.
- Lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.
- Ensure compliance with company recipes and standards.
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
- Ability to read and follow company recipes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 8:00am - 5:00pm).
- Clearance approval into the facility.
