About The Position

The Kitchen Mechanic at Hilton Americas-Houston is responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of the hotel's kitchen equipment and machinery. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of guest service and financial profitability by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and responding to work orders efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment and machinery.
• Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance.
• Perform equipment repairs as needed.
• Record and report completed repairs in the log book or property management system.
• Respond to team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.
