As part of our internship/traineeship program, candidates will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment that emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to food safety standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication abilities and the capacity to lead a team effectively while maintaining a strong work ethic. Preference will be given to candidates with prior supervisory experience and a culinary training degree. Proficiency in English, French, and Spanish is advantageous, as it will enhance interactions with our diverse clientele and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Foster positive interactions with supervisors, management, colleagues, and patrons to promote teamwork and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Work independently and execute tasks without direct supervision.
  • Devise effective solutions to challenges that arise in the kitchen.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret business documents, professional publications, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
  • Perform calculations related to discounts, proportions, and percentages accurately.
  • Mentor and inspire team members to achieve their best performance.
  • Practice food safety protocols diligently.
  • Establish client relationships to ensure optimal satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a hospitality-related post-secondary program OR hold a hospitality degree with a minimum of one year of relevant experience (outside the USA) OR possess five years of pertinent professional experience (outside the USA).
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Culinary training degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English, French, and Spanish is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication abilities and capacity to lead a team effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and adherence to food safety standards.

  • Experience in a fine dining environment.
  • Knowledge of French cuisine and culinary techniques.
