About the position

The Kitchen Supervisor at Jonesboro Dwarf House will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of the restaurant, ensuring food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met, and managing a team of kitchen staff. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in Jonesboro, Georgia with a salary of $18 per hour, paid biweekly. They will ensure that all recipes and portion sizes are followed accurately to maintain food quality and consistency. The supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment. Monitoring inventory and placing orders for food and supplies as needed will be part of their daily tasks, along with creating and implementing kitchen operational procedures and policies to improve efficiency and productivity. Additionally, the Kitchen Supervisor will enforce food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff. They will collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus and specials that align with customer preferences and dietary restrictions. Conducting regular inventory and cost analysis to maintain profitability is also a key responsibility. The supervisor will need to address and resolve any kitchen-related issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring smooth operations within the kitchen.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in inventory and cost control management
