About the position
The Kitchen Utility Worker at Allegria Village plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area of a senior living community. This position involves various cleaning and support tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant dining experience for residents in the Assisted Living/Skilled Nursing building.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize tools and workspace.
- Ensure proper storage of clean tools, china, glass, and silver.
- Follow standards for dish machine use and chemical handling.
- Perform general cleaning duties in kitchen and storage areas.
- Label and date all stored food.
- Wash all kitchen eating equipment for meals and cooking activities.
- Deliver excellent customer service by supporting servers and the production team.
- Follow infection control procedures and the policy and procedure manual to prevent infection and foodborne illness.
Requirements
- 1-year experience as a dishwasher/utility worker is required.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing facility is a plus.
