About the position

The Senior Associate Product Engineer/Designer & Development role at KJUS involves assisting the Product Engineering & Design Team in the design and development process for Ski, Golf, and Lifestyle collections. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure timely updates and compliance with production calendars, while also contributing to the creation of tech packs and garment fitting evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with design team, product team, and factories to update tech packs and systems with all necessary information about the products being developed.
• Collaborate with design and development team to create the product line from concept to bulk.
• Meet deadlines for design and development while complying with production calendars.
• Draw and update sketches as needed.
• Fill out BOMs and spec sheets in PLM.
• Support with technology graphics for sales and marketing purposes, including icons and tech explanations.
• Prepare fit comments and development comments, revising tech packs for production.
• Collaborate with Design and Product Development teams to evaluate and fit garments.
• Assist Senior Designer with print and pattern design.
• Help organize catalogs, samples, and swatches for the Design and Development team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of design or development experience.
• Experience in print and pattern creation.
• Strong understanding of garment construction and fitting.
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel.

• Print and pattern experience preferred.
