About the position

The KNIME/Tableau Engineer will be responsible for administering and supporting the KNIME and Tableau platforms in a cloud environment, specifically AWS. This role involves working as part of a team to manage the global IT infrastructure and applications, providing operational and engineering services for business intelligence and analytics platforms. The engineer will also be tasked with troubleshooting issues, ensuring security compliance, and recommending infrastructure improvements while collaborating with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support KNIME and Tableau platforms in an AWS environment.
• Provide 24/5 support for BI/Analytics landscape including Tableau platforms on premises and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot operational issues related to BI/Analytics infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend changes for BI/Analytics tiers security issues.
• Work directly with global customers to resolve escalated BI/Analytics infrastructure-related issues.
• Review, develop, and enforce policies and standards for BI/Analytics and cloud systems.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external business contacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology from an accredited college/university.
• 3-5 years of experience in managing, supporting, and engineering Business Intelligence/Analytical tools primarily KNIME, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Strong expertise with the KNIME Platform, including KNIME Server and Hub administration.
• Technical knowledge in Cloud and Containerization Platforms, particularly EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
• Expertise with Tableau Online (SaaS) and understanding of Tableau architecture and licensing models.
• Good understanding of Power BI Administration and its components.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
