About the position

The Knowledge Graph/Data Engineering Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is responsible for leading a team that addresses complex business issues related to data governance and management. This role involves developing and implementing data governance strategies, managing projects, and ensuring effective information management practices to protect client data. The manager will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage data governance projects, defining strategy and roadmap, operating model, policies, and tool design.
• Develop and implement knowledge graph-based solutions using RDF compliant graph technology and ETL solutions.
• Capture architecture requirements and design scalable knowledge graph infrastructures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Manage business development opportunities and engagements from pre-sale to final delivery.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, addressing their needs and resolving conflicts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance and management.
• Proven experience in leading data governance projects and teams.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and practices.
• Experience with data analysis and enterprise metadata management.

Nice-to-haves

• EDM Council DCAM Certified Assessor certification.
• Data Governance & Stewardship Professional (DGSP) certification.
• DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification.
• Experience with ontology modeling and semantic web technologies.
• Familiarity with machine learning and natural language processing techniques.
