About the position

The Knowledge Graph / Data Engineering Manager role at PwC involves leading a team to address complex business challenges related to data governance and management. This position focuses on developing and implementing data governance strategies, managing projects, and ensuring effective data management practices. The manager will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance data protection and compliance in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage data governance projects, defining strategy and roadmap, operating model, policies/standards, and tool design.
  • Develop and implement knowledge graph-based solutions using RDF compliant graph technology and ETL solutions.
  • Capture architecture requirements and design scalable knowledge graph infrastructures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, addressing their needs and managing expectations.
  • Conduct project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and ensure successful completion of work streams.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in the knowledge graph space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance and management.
  • Proven record of success managing projects related to data governance strategy and technology implementation.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and enterprise platforms such as Collibra or Informatica.
  • Experience with data analysis, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.

Nice-to-haves

  • EDM Council DCAM Certified Assessor certification.
  • Data Governance & Stewardship Professional (DGSP) certification.
  • DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification.
  • Experience with ontology modeling and semantic web technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
