About the position

The Knowledge Graph / Data Engineering Manager at PwC will lead a team focused on solving complex business and data protection challenges. This role involves driving strategic programs, data analytics, and technical implementation activities within the Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Forensics domain. The manager will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance strategies, managing projects, and ensuring effective team collaboration while fostering an inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Data Governance projects, defining strategy and roadmap, operating model, policies/standards, and tool design.
  • Develop and implement data governance strategies and practices in an enterprise setting.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build meaningful recommendations.
  • Coach team members and encourage ownership of their development.
  • Manage project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and successful completion of work streams.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing their needs and resolving conflicts.
  • Design and build knowledge graph-based solutions using RDF compliant graph technology and ETL solutions.
  • Ensure data governance and implement data management best practices in the knowledge graph environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance or related areas.
  • Experience managing projects related to data governance strategy, architecture, and technology implementation.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and enterprise platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • EDM Council DCAM Certified Assessor certification.
  • Data Governance & Stewardship Professional (DGSP) certification.
  • DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification.
  • Experience with ontology modeling and semantic web technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
