About the position

The Knowledge Graph / Data Engineering Manager at PwC will lead a team focused on solving complex business issues related to data governance and management. This role involves driving strategic programs, implementing data analytics, and ensuring effective information governance to help clients navigate legal and business processes. The manager will be responsible for developing and executing data governance strategies, managing projects, and mentoring team members while fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage data governance projects, defining strategy and roadmap, operating model, policies/standards, and tool design.
• Develop and implement data governance strategies and practices in an enterprise setting.
• Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build meaningful recommendations.
• Coach team members and encourage ownership of their development.
• Manage project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and successful completion of work streams.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing their needs and resolving conflicts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in knowledge graph technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance or related areas.
• Proven record of managing projects and leading teams in a complex business environment.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and practices, including DCAM and related standards.
• Experience with data governance enterprise platforms such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

• EDM Council DCAM Certified Assessor certification.
• Data Governance & Stewardship Professional (DGSP) certification.
• DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification.
• Experience with ontology modeling and semantic web technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
