Mano Lani is seeking a Knowledge Management Manager to join our rapidly growing team in the National Capital Region in Virginia. This pivotal role is designed to support solutions that develop highly complex, diverse, and sophisticated data visualization and multimedia materials for a government client. The Knowledge Management Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the company's knowledge base, ensuring that all employees have access to the necessary information and resources to perform their jobs effectively. This individual will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to promote and optimize the usage of our organization's knowledge assets. The Knowledge Management Manager will support solutions to automate content management and business processes, focusing on user experience, user interface, and graphic design. Key responsibilities include content migration, classification, tagging, archiving, and managing workflows, reports, dashboards, business intelligence, analytics, data quality, and data curation. The role also involves developing term groups, term sets, and governance, as well as supporting SharePoint sites, users, permissions, and governance. The manager will create solution documentation, governance documentation, 'How To' guides, embedded help content, and video tutorials, all while working with minimal guidance. In addition to these responsibilities, the Knowledge Management Manager will design, develop, and manage programs related to knowledge management, oversee the creation and organization of knowledge assets, and champion a scalable strategy to capture and distribute team know-how across all departments. The role requires collaboration with IT, research and development, product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless access to critical information. The manager will also facilitate the design and implementation of staff accreditation programs and supervise content development for intranet portals and other knowledge-sharing platforms. Continuous improvement of knowledge management processes is essential, as is the ability to integrate websites with other applications and convert various media formats for web compatibility.
