About the position

The Knowledge Management Operations Specialist is responsible for managing content within knowledge-based systems and processes that support Air Force programs, particularly those related to the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) in support of Air Combat Command (ACC). This role involves ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while meeting customer needs, developing action plans, conducting specialized information research, and standardizing knowledge across various organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and carry out knowledge management activities for the CDAO/A6D.
  • Develop goals and action plans to achieve knowledge sharing objectives.
  • Research and apply relevant laws, regulations, and policies regarding data sharing.
  • Conduct specialized information research to support CDAO initiatives.
  • Evaluate and standardize knowledge and information on ACC data and AI efforts.
  • Analyze FAQs, newsletters, blogs, and other knowledge-sharing mechanisms for content and standardization.
  • Direct and coordinate the CDAO KM program and recommend policies for CRM systems.
  • Develop plans to improve customer services supporting CDAO functions.
  • Represent CDAO in various councils and working groups.

Requirements

  • At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of policies and procedures affecting data sharing.
  • Experience with Knowledge Management (KM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) concepts.
  • Skill in information technology program management theories and practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a military or government organization.
  • Familiarity with data literacy, training, and outreach initiatives.
