The Knowledge Management Program Facilitator position is located within the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR) at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). This role is pivotal in identifying the knowledge needs of employees to ensure they have access to the systems and resources essential for their work across the division. The facilitator will develop, implement, and maintain strategies to manage knowledge as a strategic asset, which is crucial for enhancing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the division. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to build and maintain sound knowledge management practices that support the FDIC's performance goals and mission. In addition to managing knowledge resources, the facilitator will provide input into the development and assessment of the annual CISR training plan, ensuring that it meets the diverse functional and geographic needs of the division. The role involves facilitating the development and evaluation of knowledge management systems, including intelligent search and retrieval practices, and preparing management reports that evaluate the effectiveness of policies and programs in meeting CISR objectives. Regular briefings with the CISR Director and other executive management will be part of the responsibilities, as well as identifying opportunities to leverage knowledge with both internal and external stakeholders. The facilitator will also coordinate the CISR communication program to keep staff informed about changes in regulations, procedures, guidance, or training opportunities. This includes working closely with the CISR intranet coordinator to ensure that regulatory calendars, resources, tools, and training materials are updated on the CISR website. This position is essential for fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the FDIC.
