About the position

The Senior Knowledge Management Requirements Engineer plays a crucial role in aligning processes and technology to facilitate information sharing among analysts and organizations for analytic production. This position involves utilizing various databases and content management systems to enhance workflow and processes, compiling performance reports, and disseminating intelligence products across networks. The engineer will also apply requirement management methodologies to develop or reengineer processes that align with organizational mission needs and priorities, acting as a liaison between customers and IT/KM Requirements Analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in aligning processes and technology for information sharing.
  • Utilize centralized and peripheral databases for workflow enhancement.
  • Compile reports on performance and usage metrics for knowledge management capabilities.
  • Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
  • Apply requirement management methodologies to develop or reengineer processes.
  • Act as a conduit between J2 customers and IT/KM Requirements Analyst.
  • Identify organization customers and suppliers, documenting key processes as needed.
  • Design, document, and assess new processes in line with DoD and Intelligence Community policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of relevant experience, with some experience within the last two (2) years.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely, both verbally and non-verbally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.
  • In-depth knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category, with some experience within the last 2 years.
  • Master's degree in a related area from an accredited institution.
