About the position

Parsons is seeking a talented Knowledge Manager to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in providing knowledge management support to facilitate information sharing among analysts and organizations. This position involves shaping workflows and processes to enhance the efficiency of knowledge management capabilities. You will be responsible for utilizing government-furnished centralized and peripheral databases and records management systems to provide analytics, dashboarding, and reporting on performance and usage metrics. Your work will include compiling reports on performance and usage metrics, as well as future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities, which encompass search, discovery, storage, and retrieval of data, along with formal production and taskings. In this role, you will also be tasked with posting, editing, distributing, and maintaining appropriate content on both classified and unclassified websites and portals. Organizing data, establishing file structures, and ensuring that information is captured and stored in locations accessible to authorized users will be key responsibilities. You will need to ensure that proper security protocols are adhered to in order to protect classified, proprietary, and personally identifiable information. Additionally, you will use government-furnished tools to build, update, and maintain databases that can be utilized to produce standalone products or support all-source analytic production. Developing metrics from designated databases or data sets and preparing reports and presentations with these metrics will also be part of your duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide knowledge management support to enable information sharing among analysts and organizations by shaping workflow/processes.
  • Use Government-furnished databases/records management systems to provide analytics, dashboarding, and reporting on performance/usage metrics.
  • Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities.

Requirements

  • Experience working in the DoD
  • Experience engaging with senior government and military officials
  • Experience developing strategic communications plans
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience working in intelligence; or Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience working in intelligence; or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience working in intelligence
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
