About the position

Parsons is seeking a talented Knowledge Manager to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in providing knowledge management support to facilitate information sharing among analysts and organizations. This position involves shaping workflows and processes to enhance the efficiency of knowledge management capabilities. You will be responsible for utilizing government-furnished centralized and peripheral databases and records management systems to provide analytics, dashboarding, and reporting on performance and usage metrics. Your role will also include compiling reports on performance and usage metrics, as well as future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities, which encompass search, discovery, storage, and retrieval of data, along with formal production and taskings. In addition to reporting, you will be tasked with posting, editing, distributing, and maintaining appropriate content on both classified and unclassified websites and portals. Organizing data, establishing file structures, and ensuring that information is captured and stored in locations accessible to authorized users will be key responsibilities. You will also ensure that proper security protocols are adhered to in order to protect classified, proprietary, and personally identifiable information. Furthermore, you will utilize government-furnished tools to build, update, and maintain databases that can be used to produce standalone products or support all-source analytic production. Developing metrics from designated databases or data sets and preparing reports and presentations with these metrics will also be part of your duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide knowledge management support to enable information sharing among analysts and organizations.
  • Utilize government-furnished databases and records management systems for analytics, dashboarding, and reporting on performance metrics.
  • Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for knowledge management capabilities.
  • Post, edit, distribute, and maintain content on classified and unclassified websites/portals.
  • Organize data and establish file structures to ensure information is accessible to authorized users.
  • Ensure proper security protocols are used to protect classified and personally identifiable information.
  • Build, update, and maintain databases using government-furnished tools to support analytic production.
  • Develop metrics from designated databases and prepare reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • Experience working in the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Experience engaging with senior government and military officials.
  • Experience developing strategic communications plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School diploma or GED with 6+ years of experience in intelligence; or an Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience; or a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in intelligence.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in the Intelligence Community.
  • Experience as an executive assistant, executive officer, and requirements manager.
  • Knowledge of COLISEUM.
  • Knowledge of the EUCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Ability to provide shift work support, if required.
  • Active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence polygraph.
