About the position

The Knowledge Manager at Parsons will provide essential Knowledge Management (KM) support to enhance shared understanding, learning, and decision-making within the organization. This role involves conducting various KM processes, including content analysis, document management, and data capture, while also planning and implementing strategies for enterprise modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining the USCYBERCOM implementation of the Command's Knowledge Management strategic plan.
  • Identify Knowledge Management problems and provide an analysis and recommendations report with solutions and implementation strategies.
  • Develop, document, and implement repeatable Knowledge Management processes for continual process improvement.
  • Assist in the development of Knowledge Management best practices and performance measures.
  • Provide expertise in developing Microsoft SharePoint portals, database management, and Microsoft office suite applications.
  • Research and document sources of KM training.
  • Develop and present Knowledge Management briefings.
  • Develop Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for coordinating the flow of information and work with USCYBERCOM training branches to periodically test these TTPs during exercises.
  • Post, edit, distribute, and maintain appropriate content on classified and unclassified website/portals.
  • Organize data, establish file structures, and ensure information is captured and stored in locations accessible to various user groups in accordance with the Command's Records Management requirements.
  • Coordinate and make recommendations to Government leadership on KM related process changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Information Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist.
  • Skills managing Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph, or active TS/SCI with the willingness to get a polygraph.
