About the position

The Knowledge Manager - Senior position at Cherokee Analytics is a critical role that requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance, along with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph. This position is designed to provide advanced analytic capabilities and tradecraft to all-source intelligence analysts, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and information to perform their duties effectively. The Knowledge Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning processes and technology to facilitate information sharing among analysts and organizations, thereby enhancing analytic production. In this role, the Knowledge Manager will utilize both centralized and peripheral databases, as well as content and records management systems, to shape workflows and processes that optimize the use of knowledge management capabilities. This includes compiling reports on performance and usage metrics, as well as identifying future requirements for existing systems related to search, discovery, storage, and retrieval of data. The dissemination of intelligence products across various networks and portals is also a key responsibility, ensuring that critical information reaches the right stakeholders in a timely manner. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to perform other job-related duties as assigned. The Knowledge Manager will be expected to demonstrate a high level of expertise in the field, with a focus on continuous improvement and adaptation to evolving conditions in the intelligence landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Align processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.

  • Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability and willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • A minimum of twelve (12) years of related experience, with at least a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to use logic and systematic approaches to gather, evaluate, and synthesize multiple sources of information.
  • Ability to interpret analysis, including its meaning, importance, and implications.
  • Ability to defend analytic judgments with sound, logical conclusions and adapt judgments when presented with new information.
  • Ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner, both verbally and non-verbally.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to develop structured research, including obtaining, evaluating, organizing, and maintaining information within security and data protocols.
  • Ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and collaborate with other IC members.
