About the position

Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Senior Knowledge Manager (SharePoint) for a position in Columbia, MD. In this role, the candidate will assist in aligning processes and technology to enable effective information sharing among analysts and organizations for analytic production. This involves utilizing centralized and peripheral databases, content management systems, and records management systems to shape workflows and processes. The candidate will compile reports on performance and usage metrics, as well as future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities, which include search, discovery, storage, and retrieval of data, along with formal production and taskings. Additionally, the role requires disseminating intelligence products across various networks and portals. A primary function of this position is the administrative management of SharePoint. Responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of client and server-side SharePoint sites, pages, lists, and libraries. The candidate will troubleshoot technical issues faced by SharePoint users and ensure that proper access controls are implemented for operational security management. The contractor must possess experience in computer languages for customized programming of web parts and pages. The role also involves web application development duties that require software development skills in multiple programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET. The SharePoint and web development efforts will support the Knowledge Management Strategy and the Dissemination Tool, such as HighPoint/SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Align processes and technology to enable information sharing for analytic production.
• Utilize centralized and peripheral databases and content management systems to shape workflows and processes.
• Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for knowledge management capabilities.
• Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
• Perform administrative SharePoint functions including development and maintenance of SharePoint sites, pages, lists, and libraries.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with SharePoint users and ensure proper access controls for operational security management.
• Develop customized programming for web parts/pages using various programming languages.
• Conduct web application development duties in support of the Knowledge Management Strategy.

Requirements

• TS/SCI security clearance, with Poly preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university, or a Bachelor's degree with an additional 5 years of related senior experience for a total of 17 years as a substitute for the Master's degree.
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
• Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursues developments in academia or other fields affecting tradecraft methodology.
• Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches for rigorous assessments.
• In-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational boundaries.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
• Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions.
