Torch Technologies is seeking a Knowledge Manager/Staff Action Control Officer to support the Joint Counter small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO) Director, Deputy Director, and Secretariat Division Chief. The JCO serves as a focal point for the Department of Defense to synchronize and integrate counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) efforts for all stakeholders, including the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, and Inter-Agency activities both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside (OCONUS). The incumbent will be responsible for managing multiple knowledge management processes and tools, including SharePoint, Teams, and ETMS2, while supporting the full range of staff actions. As the Staff Action Control Officer (SACO) for the JCO under the Executive Agent (Secretary of the Army), the individual will provide a comprehensive range of management services, including staff action guidance, administrative expertise, program management, and analytical functions essential to the operation of the JCO staff. This role is primarily focused on tracking, administering, and ensuring quality control and assessment of responses for all staff and coordination actions necessary to fulfill the JCO's mission and tasks. The incumbent will produce final format products that are clear, concise, complete, and accurate, including email correspondence, fact sheets, memorandums, after-action reports, executive summaries, military briefs, oral presentations, and policies. The position also involves responding to numerous inquiries from staff elements regarding the status of suspense and requests for extensions, assigning and reviewing work to ensure production and accuracy requirements are met, and providing training and instruction for new personnel on internal staff action standard operating procedures and terminology. The Knowledge Manager will align processes and technology to enable information sharing across the team using content management and SharePoint best practices, perform administrative SharePoint duties, troubleshoot technical issues, and act as a technical point of contact for SharePoint. This includes providing training and best practice guidance, communicating with management and team members on ways to improve SharePoint site collections, and managing access rights and permissions for users as appropriate.
