About the position

The Knowledge Management Specialist at Blue Sky Innovators, Inc. is responsible for establishing and maintaining a knowledge management system that fosters a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration across programs. This role ensures that relevant knowledge is effectively disseminated and applied to business activities, while also providing coaching and support to promote a knowledge management culture. The specialist will coordinate with stakeholders, provide technical advice, and ensure efficient program execution, all while maintaining quality assurance of digital assets and records.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains knowledge management system for Tempo Group
  • Encourages a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow among programs
  • Ensures that the right knowledge goes to the right people and is promptly applied to business activities
  • Helps capture new knowledge using a knowledge management system
  • Monitors progress and learning processes by tracking engagement, project outcomes, and other metrics
  • Provides relevant coaching, training, and support to champion a knowledge management culture
  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to identify program needs to meet project goals
  • Confers with program managers to provide technical advice and assist with problem resolution
  • Ensures programs are properly coordinated and efficiently accomplished with the best available resources
  • Supports and advises Government program management on integration across the full spectrum of interfaces
  • Responsible for review, analysis, quality assurance, cataloging, and metadata management of holdings across the data lifecycle of digital assets
  • Provides quality control and quality assurance support for digital records and systems in accordance with DAF and DoD directives
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate ambiguity and incomplete information into insights and documentation
  • Creates a forum for following campaigns, communicating evaluated solutions, and standardizing documentation
  • Gathers, analyzes, and composes technical information regarding the systems and services

Requirements

  • 10+ years of general Knowledge Management experience
  • Extensive experience in knowledge management, technical writing, communities management, records management, and curriculum development and requirements gathering
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence (required)
  • Certified Knowledge Manager Certification from Knowledge Management Institute (desired)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • TS SCI clearance
