About the position

The Knowledge Manager position at Valiant Integrated Services involves leading a team responsible for implementing knowledge management processes and IT solutions to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organization. The role requires troubleshooting and problem resolution for various computer systems, including personal computers, servers, and networks, while ensuring compliance with government regulations and maintaining sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MTC Knowledge Management team, translating organizational vision into KM processes supported by IT solutions.
• Work with MTC staff to define KM strategy and implement initiatives that promote knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Research knowledge management tools and methods to improve information sharing efficiencies.
• Conduct knowledge management training for contractor and government staff.
• Update and maintain a detailed knowledge management SOP leveraging developed KM approaches.
• Maintain and archive MCTC historical data and monitor client feedback.
• Provide direction to KM team members, establishing priorities and monitoring progress.
• Ensure accessibility of current and future processes via the MCTCnet website.
• Define and implement effective metrics and reporting for KM solutions.
• Coordinate migration to SharePoint 2016 at government direction.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a SharePoint Administrator or Knowledge Manager.
• Minimum 4 years' experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013, or 2016.
• Proven proficiency with SharePoint workflows, lists, forms, document libraries, and search.
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows PowerShell scripts for automating tasks in SharePoint.
• Ability to work with little supervision in fast-paced environments.

• Experience in Army operations and training environments preferred.
