About the position

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Knowledge Manager professional to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for consolidating data from multiple SAP networks into a single SAP network, ensuring that knowledge management practices are effectively implemented across the organization. You will establish and maintain a knowledge management system that encourages a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow among various programs. Your efforts will ensure that the right knowledge reaches the right people, enabling prompt application to business activities. As a Knowledge Manager, you will help capture new knowledge through the use of the knowledge management system and monitor progress and learning processes by tracking engagement, project outcomes, and other relevant metrics. You will provide coaching, training, and support to foster a knowledge management culture within the organization. Coordination with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to verify program needs and meet project goals. You will also confer with program managers to provide technical advice and assist with problem resolution as needed, ensuring that programs are properly coordinated and efficiently accomplished with the best available resources. Additionally, you will support and advise Government program management on integration across the full spectrum of interfaces, contributing to the overall success of MTSI's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with consolidation of data from multiple SAP networks to one SAP network.
  • Establish and maintain knowledge management system.
  • Encourage a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow among programs.
  • Ensure that the right knowledge goes to the right people and is promptly applied to business activities.
  • Help capture new knowledge using a knowledge management system.
  • Monitor progress and learning processes by tracking engagement, project outcomes, and other metrics.
  • Provide relevant coaching, training, and support to champion a knowledge management culture.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to verify program needs are identified to meet project goals.
  • Confer with program managers to provide technical advice and assist with problem resolution as needed.
  • Ensure programs are properly coordinated and efficiently accomplished with the best available resources.
  • Support and advise Government program management on integration across the full spectrum of interfaces.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of general Knowledge Management experience.
  • 4+ years of Process Improvement, Process Documentation, and Process Analysis experience.
  • 3+ years of Technical Writing experience.
  • Certified Knowledge Manager Certification (Knowledge Management Institute).
  • Experience with JIRA, MS Project, and/or SmartSheet is desired.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
