About the position

The Knowledge Manager at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is responsible for establishing and maintaining a knowledge management system that consolidates data from multiple SAP networks. This role emphasizes fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration, ensuring that relevant information is effectively disseminated and applied to business activities. The Knowledge Manager will also provide coaching and support to promote a knowledge management culture, coordinate with stakeholders to identify program needs, and ensure quality assurance of digital assets throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with consolidation of data from multiple SAP networks to one SAP network.
  • Establish and maintain knowledge management system for Tempo Group.
  • Encourage a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow among programs.
  • Ensure that the right knowledge goes to the right people and is promptly applied to business activities.
  • Capture new knowledge using a knowledge management system.
  • Monitor progress and learning processes by tracking engagement, project outcomes, and other metrics.
  • Provide relevant coaching, training, and support to champion a knowledge management culture.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to verify program needs are identified to meet project goals.
  • Confer with program managers to provide technical advice and assist with problem resolution as needed.
  • Ensure programs are properly coordinated and efficiently accomplished with the best available resources.
  • Support and advise Government program management on integration across the full spectrum of interfaces.
  • Review, analyze, and manage quality assurance, cataloging, and metadata management of digital assets.
  • Provide quality control and quality assurance support for digital records and systems in accordance with DAF and DoD directives.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate ambiguity and incomplete information into insights and documentation.
  • Create a forum for following campaigns, communicating evaluated solutions, and standardizing documentation.
  • Gather, analyze, and compose technical information regarding the systems and services.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of general Knowledge Management experience.
  • Extensive experience in knowledge management, technical writing, communities management, records management, and curriculum development and requirements gathering.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence (required).
  • Certified Knowledge Manager Certification - Knowledge Management Institute (desired).
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • TS SCI clearance required.
