About the position

The Knowledge Manager will be responsible for researching, drafting, editing, and proofreading various internal business and technical documentation. This role focuses on creating instructional knowledge articles, process documents, and content for the monthly newsletter, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all materials produced.

Responsibilities

  • Research and draft internal business and technical documentation.
  • Edit and proofread various types of documentation including instructional knowledge articles and process documents.
  • Create content for the monthly newsletter.
  • Ensure clarity and accuracy of current documentation by reviewing previous versions and conducting necessary research.

Requirements

  • Must hold a TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
  • Must meet contract level requirements for the appropriate position.
  • Comfortable taking initiative and interacting with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to communicate directly with management.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in communication, journalism, writing, or a related field.
  • Experience with industry writing style including grammar, sentence form, and structure.
  • Ability to present technical information in a non-technical way.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with process writing is preferred but not required.
