About the position

Markon Solutions is seeking a Knowledge Manager to support one of our Intelligence Community customers. This individual will assist the government with asset management strategy and provide knowledge management expertise across organizational divisions for data analytics, dashboard creation, requirements development and coordination, and collaborative tools to effectively use and manage enterprise real property information. The Knowledge Manager is responsible for the timely, accurate, and efficient preparation and management of documents to support project construction managers in the execution of their responsibilities. This includes controlling the distribution, sorting, filing, storing, authorization, back-up, and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents, as well as ensuring document audit compliance. In this role, the Knowledge Manager will coordinate daily with knowledge managers, audit preparation personnel, real property officers, branch managers, project managers, and design managers to provide solutions and products focusing on three central goals of the Production Control Team: Performance Management, Governance, and Customer Interface. The individual will oversee and improve the services and systems that the organization uses to interface with their customers, monitoring and maintaining customer interface facets that will provide transparency and accountability. They will also review and tailor processes to ensure alignment with an effective asset management framework. The Knowledge Manager will develop practical and intelligent tools and programs (via databases and shared environments) to provide leadership, decision makers, and customers with real-time information. They will provide guidance on strategic direction to ensure operational effectiveness, proficiency, and alignment to internal controls, as well as provide data, metrics, and input on respective project performance across the division. Additionally, the role involves supporting financial processes and policies at branch/division levels through efficient, customer-focused, and audit-compliant methods, driving audit compliance across the division from minor expense projects to capitalized full renovations. Training and rotating regularly with other knowledge management team members is essential to achieve a full understanding of project management and document control, standard operating procedures, and program processes across the division. The Knowledge Manager will periodically attend project site visits to work closely with project managers to learn and improve project processes, prioritizing interchangeability with knowledge managers to provide customers with various state-of-the-art knowledge management services, intelligent products, and forward-thinking methods. They will also administer, catalogue, and store all existing and new as-built project documents, provide support to project closeouts and audits, and assist designers, engineers, project managers, and facilities personnel with existing documents, data, and drawings for project design.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) with 3 years of experience or Associate's degree with at least 5 years of experience min
  • Outstanding customer service attitude and holds a team-focused mindset
  • Maintains outstanding oral and written communication ability in multiple fast-paced environments
  • Enthusiastic desire to engage in business system and process improvement
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
