About the position

N2IA Technologies is seeking a Knowledge Manager to support the Doctrine Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership & Education Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) spectrum within a high-profile environment. This role involves leveraging knowledge assets to drive organizational efficiencies and providing expert guidance in knowledge management (KM) practices. The position is based on-site at the Pentagon, where the Knowledge Manager will be responsible for implementing and overseeing KM strategies that enhance the organization's ability to manage and utilize knowledge effectively. The Knowledge Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that knowledge management practices are integrated into the organization's operations. This includes developing and maintaining knowledge repositories, facilitating knowledge sharing among teams, and ensuring that best practices in KM are followed. The role requires a deep understanding of KM theory and practices, as well as the ability to mentor and guide others in these areas. The Knowledge Manager will also be expected to network with external agencies to study best practices and bring innovative ideas to the organization. In addition to technical expertise, the Knowledge Manager must possess excellent interpersonal skills, as the role involves significant collaboration and facilitation of group activities. The ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, is crucial for success in this position. The Knowledge Manager will also be responsible for training and supporting staff in KM methodologies, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of knowledge management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage knowledge assets to drive organizational efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in Knowledge Management.
  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Office.
  • Expert knowledge of KM theory and practices.
  • Extensive experience applying KM concepts, processes, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • DoD 8570 Level II IT Certifications: Security+ and Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM).
  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Education or a similar field.
  • Secret Security Clearance.
