About the position

The Knowledge Manager will oversee and enhance the organization's knowledge management systems, particularly focusing on SharePoint Knowledge 2013-2019. This role involves ensuring the efficient capture, organization, and retrieval of critical information, as well as developing and maintaining a site with built-in workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on creating user-friendly interfaces and optimizing SharePoint functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the knowledge management systems and infrastructure, particularly SharePoint Knowledge 2013-2019.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge management needs and streamline processes.
• Design and implement SharePoint-based solutions tailored to the organization's knowledge management requirements.
• Customize and configure SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists to improve content organization and user experience.
• Utilize SharePoint Designer to develop workflows, forms, and templates to automate knowledge management processes.
• Demonstrate expertise in front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Apply back-end development knowledge, such as Java and JQuery, to enhance SharePoint applications.
• Develop and deliver training programs on best practices for knowledge management and SharePoint utilization.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Poly
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
• Proven experience working with SharePoint Knowledge 2013-2019 and SharePoint Designer
• Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Working knowledge of back-end development languages, including Java and JQuery
• Direct experience in HTML coding to customize and optimize SharePoint sites.
