About the position

The Knowledge Manager at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is responsible for establishing and maintaining a knowledge management system that fosters a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration among various programs. This senior-level position involves ensuring that relevant knowledge is effectively disseminated and applied to business activities, capturing new knowledge, monitoring engagement and project outcomes, and providing coaching and support to promote a knowledge management culture. The role also includes coordinating with stakeholders, advising program management, and ensuring efficient resource utilization across programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a knowledge management system.
• Encourage a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow among programs.
• Ensure that the right knowledge goes to the right people and is promptly applied to business activities.
• Help capture new knowledge using a knowledge management system.
• Monitor progress and learning processes by tracking engagement, project outcomes, and other metrics.
• Provide relevant coaching, training, and support to champion a knowledge management culture.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to identify program needs to meet project goals.
• Confer with program managers to provide technical advice and assist with problem resolution as needed.
• Ensure programs are properly coordinated and efficiently accomplished with the best available resources.
• Support and advise Government program management on integration across a full spectrum of interfaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 10+ years of general Knowledge Management experience
• 4+ years of Process Improvement, Process Documentation, and Process Analysis
• 3+ years of Technical Writing experience
• Certified Knowledge Manager Certification (Knowledge Management Institute)
• Experience with JIRA, MS Project, and/or SmartSheet
• TS/SCI clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
