About the position

The Knowledge Manager at Peraton will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Knowledge Management within the USCYBERCOM team, focusing on managing content, workflow, and educating users on the Knowledge Management System. This role is critical in integrating information across departments to enhance access and sharing, while also providing strategic direction and operational support to optimize processes and ensure alignment with the USCYBERCOM mission.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Knowledge Management and its reporting capabilities.
• Manage content and workflow within the Knowledge Management System.
• Educate front-end users on the use of the Knowledge Management System.
• Integrate information from various departments to facilitate easy access and sharing of information.
• Train and educate users on knowledge management tools.
• Coordinate process improvement initiatives using technology solutions.
• Conduct and oversee data analysis to optimize search results and ensure proper content categorization.
• Provide strategic direction to business groups and ensure alignment with USCYBERCOM mission.
• Monitor solution benefits and key measures of success.
• Facilitate development of controls with business partners and prepare presentations for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management or related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Significant SharePoint experience.
• Significant Jira and Confluence experience.
• Ability to build JIRA workflows and automate recurring tasks.
• Ability to build and maintain JIRA dashboards.
• Understanding of how to apply JIRA rich filters to dashboards.
• Experience using JQL (Jira Query Language).
• Experience creating confluence pages and permission groups.
• Experience creating JIRA sprints and Roadmaps.
