About the position

The Knowledge Manager at Powell Consulting Group will serve as a specialist for USCYBERCOM, focusing on enhancing collaboration through effective knowledge management practices. This role involves providing leadership with critical information for decision-making, developing and promoting best practices, and facilitating the integration of information across departments to improve access and sharing. The position requires a proactive approach to training users on knowledge management tools and developing processes for continual improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a knowledge management specialist for USCYBERCOM, enabling collaboration of Cyber operational data.
• Provide leadership with relevant information to support informed decision-making.
• Develop and promote knowledge management best practices within the Command.
• Assist in the design and development of internal business processes.
• Promote and assist with the use of internal knowledge management tools.
• Develop and implement repeatable knowledge management processes for continual improvement.
• Research and document sources of knowledge management training.
• Develop and present knowledge management briefings to Command staff.
• Integrate information from various departments to facilitate easy access and sharing.
• Train and educate front-end users of knowledge management tools.
• Develop reports to support operations and prepare presentations for senior management.
• Monitor solution benefits and key measures of success to ensure ongoing benefits are realized.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a knowledge management specialist.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Management or 6 years of experience with using internal knowledge management tools in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to pay strict attention to detail.
