About the position

The Knowledge Manager at Empower AI is responsible for managing the lifecycle of knowledge and knowledge articles, ensuring the development and maintenance of knowledge artifacts. This role involves producing various documentation, interpreting technical information, and ensuring adherence to specifications and processes within the Knowledge Management Database. The position is crucial for supporting the end-user community of DoD electronic equipment and systems, contributing to the overall effectiveness and productivity of the workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of knowledge and knowledge articles.
  • Develop and maintain the knowledge artifacts of the practice.
  • Plan and prepare the technical data for knowledge articles.
  • Produce knowledge documentation, user manuals, training manuals, and other documentation utilized by the end-user community of DoD electronic equipment and systems.
  • Interpret engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures, and blend large quantities of computer-related information.
  • Research highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience.
  • Analyze requirements, develop source material, consult engineering and technical staff, and work with editors and illustrators in preparing knowledge articles.
  • Ensure adherence to specifications and knowledge process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
  • ITIL V4 certification
  • IAT Level I certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • 6 - 9 years of relevant experience
