DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a Knowledge Manager to support a federal government client. The Knowledge Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, updating, and maintaining Knowledge Management (KM) systems, including SharePoint sites, databases, and internal websites. These systems will serve as repositories for storing, sharing, and utilizing data effectively. The candidate will assist the government by providing advice on the best utilization of KM tools to enhance information sharing across various domains, including analysis, assessments, legislative materials, policies, strategies, budget materials, IT information, and other relevant documents. In this role, the Knowledge Manager will train system users, which may include Intelligence Community (IC) partners, and provide user guides as necessary. The candidate will also integrate information with other databases as required and utilize automated tools and visualizations to facilitate user access and analysis of information holdings. Specific tools may be employed to meet unique office needs, ensuring interoperability and the ability to share information with other IC or state and local partners. The Knowledge Manager will create and maintain virtual communities of interest to enable collaboration among ODNI and its partners, allowing them to store, search, and discover information, share lessons learned and best practices, and report and track metrics to assess progress against various programs, policies, and strategies. Additionally, the candidate will develop simulations and exercises to test database readiness and communication channels, continuously identifying opportunities to improve information exchanges across systems and between the government and private sectors. The role also involves maintaining and updating an ODNI-wide repository for instructions, Internal Process Documents (IPDs), and policy memoranda, as well as building data repositories that can automatically generate visualizations to support analysis, reporting, and briefings.
