About the position

The Knowledge Transfer and Training Manager at Lactalis American Group Inc. is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining training programs that align with the company's transformation goals. This role supports the transition to the Lactalis Integrated Systems (LIS) program, focusing on SAP S/4HANA and integrated applications. The manager will continually develop training content and manage knowledge transfer initiatives across Lactalis USA businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs by assessing the organization's requirements in collaboration with the Transformation Management Office (TMO) and Business Process Owners (BPOs).
  • Design and implement training content for eLearning and instructor-led delivery that aligns with company goals.
  • Manage knowledge transfer by defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting progress on knowledge transfer activities.
  • Coordinate the delivery of training programs and teach training methods to instructors and supervisors.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and instructors, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with the USA Organizational Development learning team to ensure alignment on existing programs, systems, and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Continuing Education, Human Resource Development, or relevant certification in instructional design, training management, or talent development preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with responsibility for technical or systems training being a plus.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and best practices.
  • Practical understanding of instructional design.
  • Knowledge and experience with various learning delivery methods.
  • Capability to train, coach, and transition end users to adopt new ways of performing daily activities.
  • Skill in course content authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise 360); experience with SAP Enable Now is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management skills, including maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically, as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP systems and training delivery methods.
  • Certification in project management or related fields.
