About the position

The Krispy Kreme Team Member plays a vital role in creating a joyful experience for customers by preparing and serving delicious doughnuts while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and teamwork. This position involves various responsibilities including production, equipment operation, sanitation, and customer interaction, ensuring that every product meets Krispy Kreme's quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Produce doughnuts that meet Krispy Kreme standards.
• Prepare all ingredients necessary for doughnut production - brew, dough, glaze, fillings, and icings - using the correct formulas.
• Complete a proper production schedule on a regular basis, always seeking to minimize waste.
• Operate doughnut-making equipment and adhere to the company product standards identified in the Production Specialist Employee Training Manual.
• Utilize basic trouble-shooting and problem-solving steps.
• Maintain a clean, neat uniform at all times.
• Comply with all safety and sanitation standards.
• Practice 'clean as you go' practices to maintain a clean work environment.
• Uphold an ethic of teamwork with fellow crew members.
• Maintain a sincere and courteous demeanor with both crew members and especially guests.
• Work with management to improve performance and implement new initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be friendly, outgoing, and customer focused.
• Drivers must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid Drivers License, proof of insurance, and a good driving record.
• Position requires a Motor Vehicle Record screening.
• Must have food handlers' permit.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older for Doughnut Specialist/Cashier and Doughnut Decorator.
• Must be 18 years of age or older for Doughnut Maker and Shift Supervisor.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in restaurant or hospitality roles such as Server, Crew Member, or Cashier.
