About The Position
The Lead Operations Coordinator (LOC) at Divisions Maintenance Group (DMG) is a pivotal role that provides day-to-day operational and sales support to assigned accounts. This position is designed for an individual contributor who will not only support operations but also coach, mentor, and lead other Operations Coordinators, Associate Operations Coordinators, and Account Executives in Training. The LOC is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services, which is crucial for the growth and retention of business within assigned National Account customers. This role is considered a high potential resource for the company, with a clear trajectory towards management positions. In this capacity, the LOC will handle various responsibilities including securing non-routine work orders, expediting and tracking work orders from customers, and processing these orders through client systems. The role also involves providing support for Request for Proposals (RFPs), contract development, and administration. The LOC will communicate with customers to confirm work schedules and develop completion reports, ensuring that operational excellence is delivered consistently. This position is fundamental in rapidly delivering value and contributing to sales and gross profit growth. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with at least six months of experience within a DMG National Accounts Team. Strong customer service skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and excellent communication skills are essential. The LOC will be expected to maintain a calm demeanor in demanding situations and demonstrate strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues effectively. This role is not only about operational support but also about fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
