About The Position

As a DevOps Engineer at Lockheed Martin, you will play a crucial role in supporting cybersecurity initiatives by providing technical and engineering support for system operations. This position involves troubleshooting system failures, restoring equipment functionality, and integrating systems with enterprise infrastructures. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cybersecurity experts to protect critical networks and information.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience (four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, or two years' experience with a Master's degree).
• Twelve (12) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps.
• Recent experience within the last three years in Kubernetes.
• Recent experience within the last three years using containerization.
• Recent experience within the last three years in cluster orchestration.
• Active security clearance with a polygraph (TS/SCI w/Poly).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering Tier 3 support by troubleshooting system failures or degradations.
• Restore equipment to full operational capabilities.
• Provide 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies.
• Integrate, test, and optimize systems with enterprise infrastructures, services, and databases.
• Develop technical documentation.
• Provide technical services assistance to government engineers in the creation, updating, and management of system product line standards and databases.
