About the position

The Instructional Designer will coordinate and execute the design, development, and release of digital learning content for CAI's business practices, including the Neurodiverse Solutions Practice. This role requires strong skills in Learning and Instructional design, utilizing adult learning principles and best practices to create effective learning experiences in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time and remote, focusing on enhancing learner engagement and ensuring the effectiveness of training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute end-to-end design, development, and release timelines of digital learning content.
  • Design and develop e-Learning from ideation through storyboarding and development.
  • Create graphics, visual aids, and learning marketing materials to support content development.
  • Conduct needs assessment and job/task analysis to determine training scope.
  • Design, develop, and implement processes to assess training effectiveness and knowledge retention.
  • Collaborate to create and maintain processes for effective knowledge management and communication strategy for training materials.
  • Collaborate with multiple SMEs in various specialty areas.
  • Seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning Design, Learning Science, Instructional Design, or relevant field.
  • Solid knowledge of ADA and/or WCAG accessibility requirements and experience implementing standards.
  • Working knowledge of instructional design model (ADDIE), learning methodologies, and adult learning principles.
  • Familiarity with SCORM, online learning, and instructional design tools.
  • Knowledge of Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation and experience building measurable training.
  • Intermediate to expert level proficiency in Articulate 360 suite of products.
  • Experience in building engaging visuals and establishing templates within brand standards.
  • Independent and resourceful with the ability to take initiative and work through ambiguity.
  • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical material understandably.
  • Experience supporting small to medium-sized projects with defined objectives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Power BI experience is highly preferred.
