About the position

The Instructional Designer will coordinate and execute the design, development, and release of digital learning content for CAI, focusing on the Neurodiverse Solutions Practice. This role requires applying adult learning principles and instructional design best practices in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality learner experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute end-to-end design, development, and release timelines of digital learning content.
  • Design and develop e-Learning from ideation through storyboarding and development.
  • Create graphics, visual aids, and marketing materials to support content development.
  • Conduct needs assessments and job/task analysis to determine training scope.
  • Design, develop, and implement processes to assess training effectiveness and knowledge retention.
  • Collaborate to maintain processes for knowledge management and communication strategy for training materials.
  • Collaborate with multiple SMEs in various specialty areas.
  • Seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning Design, Learning Science, Instructional Design, or relevant field.
  • Solid knowledge of ADA and/or WCAG accessibility requirements.
  • Working knowledge of instructional design model (ADDIE) and adult learning principles.
  • Familiarity with SCORM, online learning, and instructional design tools.
  • Knowledge of Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation.
  • Intermediate to expert level proficiency in Articulate 360 suite of products.
  • Experience in building engaging visuals and establishing templates within brand standards.
  • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical material clearly.
  • Experience supporting small to medium-sized projects with defined objectives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Power BI experience is highly preferred.
