About the position

The L&D Instructional Designer will be responsible for coordinating and executing the design, development, and release of digital learning content for CAI's business practices, including their award-winning Neurodiverse Solutions Practice. This role requires a strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create effective learning experiences in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time and remote, focusing on enhancing learner engagement and ensuring the effectiveness of training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute end-to-end design, development, and release timelines of digital learning content.
  • Design and develop e-Learning from ideation through storyboarding and development.
  • Create graphics, visual aids, and marketing materials to support eLearning content.
  • Conduct needs assessments and job/task analysis to determine training scope.
  • Design, develop, and implement processes to assess training effectiveness and knowledge retention.
  • Collaborate to create and maintain processes for knowledge management and communication strategy for training materials.
  • Collaborate with multiple SMEs in various specialty areas.
  • Seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning Design, Learning Science, Instructional Design, or a relevant field.
  • Solid knowledge of ADA and/or WCAG accessibility requirements and experience implementing standards.
  • Working knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE), learning methodologies, and adult learning principles.
  • Familiarity with SCORM, online learning, and learning technology.
  • Knowledge of Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation and experience building measurable training.
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency in Articulate 360 suite of products.
  • Experience in building engaging visuals and establishing templates within brand standards.
  • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical material understandably.
  • Experience supporting small to medium-sized projects with defined objectives.
