About the position

The L1/L2 Production Support role at Swirepay involves providing technical support for Unix, Oracle, SQL, and scripting environments. The position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's payment gateway services, which cater to a diverse clientele. Responsibilities

  • Provide L1/L2 production support for Unix, Oracle, SQL, and scripting environments.
  • Manage incidents and troubleshoot issues, including log analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding support issues.
  • Visit client locations in CA to address encountered issues.
  • Assist in application development as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of working experience in production support.
  • 1-2 years of experience in application development.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix, Oracle, SQL, and scripting languages.
  • Experience in Java or Python programming.
  • Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL V3 Foundation principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as a self-learner.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
  • 3+ years of experience in banking or financial services.
