About the position

The Level 1 Medication Aide (L1MA) position at Lake St. Charles Retirement Center involves providing essential care to residents in an Independent and Assisted Living community. The role focuses on medication management, resident assistance, and maintaining communication with healthcare providers and families, all within a supportive and family-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities

• Check on residents regularly to ensure their well-being.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Communicate with physicians and families regarding resident care.
• Document resident care and medication administration accurately.
• Pass medications to residents as prescribed.
• Order medications as needed for residents.
• Address any occurrences or issues that arise during the shift.

Requirements

• Must possess Missouri L1MA certification.
• Preferred 1 year of experience in a similar role.
