About the position

The Lab Analyst - Sterility Assurance position involves conducting laboratory testing in compliance with established procedures, including Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The role requires maintaining accurate records, ensuring sample traceability, and notifying the Study Director of any issues during testing. The analyst will work under supervision, participate in quality events, and assist with documentation while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing under supervision of the Study Director, both GLP and non-GLP.
• Order supplies and media as needed for testing.
• Ensure testing is conducted according to approved procedures (SOP, CSS, STP, etc.).
• Participate in the collaboration of quality events such as unexpected results and deviations.
• Assist with and review controlled documents.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (GMP, GLP, ISO, etc.).
• Complete required training on time and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Attend work regularly and reliably, performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a relevant science or equivalent credits through 2 years' higher education preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain good documentation practices.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or two years' relevant lab employment experience preferred.
