About the position

The Lab Assistant Adjunct Instructor position at Remington College involves teaching and assisting in the Lab Assistant program at the Lafayette Campus. The instructor will help develop curriculum, supervise faculty, and ensure compliance with educational standards while fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, operating within state and federal statutes and regulations.
• Help develop the curriculum for the department.
• Assist in the recruitment, orientation, and training of faculty.
• Provide suggestions regarding hiring, firing, promotion, and discipline of employees under direct supervision.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in subject matter areas under administrative guidance.
• Assist in organizing student orientations and graduation ceremonies.
• Organize and attend Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings.
• Monitor students' attendance and control attrition in the department.
• Research and implement technological changes in the field.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of all employees in the academic program.
• Support the Campus Dean in implementing academic program objectives for positive outcomes.
• Teach courses as required.
• Travel as required.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Three (3) years of related practical work experience.
