About the position
The Lab Manager, Journeyman will oversee the management of the lab for a contract at APG, MD. This role requires a strong background in Configuration Management (CM) processes, software development, and compliance verification. The Lab Manager will be responsible for ensuring the proper identification, control, and status accounting of software products within a DEVSECOPS/Agile development environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the overall lab manager for the contract at APG, MD.
- Write Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures.
- Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products.
- Ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.
- Utilize Configuration Management tools such as JIRA, Puppet, Confluence, and Git Hub.
- Implement Configuration Management processes in a DEVSECOPS/Agile development environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.
- Three (3) to six (6) years of relevant experience.
