About the position

The Lab Research Technician position at Seibold Lab is an entry-level role focused on supporting research activities under the guidance of a Principal Investigator or Laboratory Manager. The technician will assist in collecting, tabulating, and analyzing research data, while ensuring compliance with safety and institutional policies. This role is essential for maintaining laboratory operations and contributing to research outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests under the direction of a Principal Investigator or Lab Manager.
• Collect, accurately record, and analyze data in conjunction with other research staff.
• Maintain compliance with all institutional/safety training requirements.
• Organize laboratory records, supplies, and samples, including maintaining a laboratory notebook and sample storage record.
• Utilize computer systems for data analysis and laboratory management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, laboratory equipment, and data collection/classification.

• Experience in laboratory testing and methodology.
