About the position
As a Lab Technician I at Pace® Analytical Services, you will play a crucial role in the sample preparation department of our environmental testing laboratory. This position is designed for individuals who are curious and driven, providing an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that positively impacts the world. You will receive comprehensive training to help you succeed in your role and advance your career in laboratory sciences.
Responsibilities
- Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
- Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
- Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required.
